Think Pink

Im definitely having a Love Affair With Color...especially pink lately. This Top from H&M has 2 of my favorite current trends, ruffles and pink. I feel cool, fresh and very fashion blogger-ish in it. Tucking the top all the way around makes a fashion statement and brings everything together. Also loving that statement earrings are making a come back, these strand of stars are some of my favorite ones from forever21.

Cheap Frills

Im Loving ruffled details a lot....obviously! Zara had these faux leather cropped trousers with the ruffled bottom on sale, I had to snatch them up..even if I only wear them a few times, the price tag made this trend justifiable. Im also loving this oversized destroyed tiger tee by Zara as well. I did my usual mix of soft and hard with this look and gave it a spring twist with my taupe platforms from urban outfitters (which I got on sale as well) actually my whole outfit here was under $60, adding my New Gucci Marmot mini made this look appear to be expensive, taking cheap and making it look chic with one or two lux accessories is my favorite styling tip!

Spring is in the air!

Playing with textures has always been so fun!  The tule with denim is the star of the show in this look and different textures in fashion is majorly on trend. Im truly obsessing over every trend this season, Its all fun, fresh and forward with a twist. The pastels, block heels, oversized sleeves, frilly ruffled details and cut out shoulders has been all that I have been wearing lately and wanting to wear! This look has an older Zara tule top that I layered  over my mock neck cropped eggplant colored top and paired it with of course my Levi's (wedgie fit) high waisted denim, gucci belt, zara block heels and my new Celine Micro Luggage tote.

All that Glitters...

Not Really sure what to call this look, but the faux fur gave me 20's and the backpack gave me 90's...LOL. It was raining this day so I wanted to wear a few accessories that were weather proof and my lug sole Ash combat boots are my favorite to wear in the rain because they are weather proof and I look pulled together with the heel. I also threw on my B.P. backpack( I personalized myself with the eye patch), another great (kind of) weather proof accessory. Its hard to dress for rainy or cold weather in LA and still feel cute. We are NOT used to this at all, so I was pretty impressed that  I felt cozy but still feminine and chic, Usually in the rain I gravitate towards bombers and more masculine jackets. I stuck to the classic look and wore my white button up with a twist of added embroidery from zara and my rhinestone choker from target.

Layering faux fur

This is deff the in-between season of winterish/spring. I want to be able to wear lighter clothing and lighter jackets, but its not warm enough to do so...thats where layering "in a not so heavy way" comes into play. Ive been missing my leather jacket so much but its been too cold to wear, so I took my faux fur vest, threw it over and BOOM! So easy, cozy and looks so chic. It almost appears to look like the jacket and vest came together as one piece. Whats great is that if through the day it gets a bit warmer I am able to take the vest off or the jacket and wear either one on its own and Still have a statement outfit. I wanted to put on shoes that incorporated the brown and camel colors in the vest, so i paired it with my fave Gianvito Rossi booties. This is also the first time I wore my new Gucci GG marmot mini bag with the matching belt at the same time...I was hesitant because I felt the label and label would be too much, but its not as  bad as I thought and thank goodness the bag is just as cute on the back as it is on the front because I can easily just flip it around and show the gorgeous quilted heart detail that we all know what makes this Gucci bag so Special!

winter rut.

Its that in-between time of year...you
look in your closet and think "ugh". Whenever I'm in a rut I try to dress as simple as possible. Today I couldn't have been more plain jane, but its the basics that I end up wearing the most even though they are just sooo "basic". Pairing simple high-waisted levis, a black tank and black ankle booties with my gucci belt and nude bomber gave it a little more oomph. Small details on a simple outfit can help add a lot...speaking of small details, my beautiful gold chain that I have on my Louis Vuitton Pochette is from amazon and it completely changed that little bags life. I have never been asked more where I have gotten something that I'm wearing than this little chain! So Ive linked it below.

Gucci Wally Wally, Gucci Bang Bang

Gucci Wally Wally, Gucci Bang Bang

I finally got myself a designer belt that screams me! The Gucci Double G belt in Black and gold...Its simple, but does a lot to an outfit. It is a total overly instagramed item right now and I didn't want that to be a reason to not get it, at the same time the reason I did get it...So I was hesitant at first and then pulled the trigger. I came to the realization that It is the first designer belt I'm in love with. Ive been wanting one for a long time and this one is absolutely perfect because of its simplicity, I am able to were it multiple ways with anything...
